NORTHERN WESTCHESTER
South on Bronx River Road to Desmond Avenue exit, which will be on the right. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp and proceed to the STOP sign; turn left again onto Midland Avenue; continue on Midland Aveue approximately 1 mile to #135 (on your left immediately after traffic light at Tanglewylde and Midland Avenues.)
FROM MANHATTAN
Major Deegan (I-87) Thruway North to Cross County Parkway East, to The Bronx River Parkway North, to Exit 2, Pondfield Road WEST. Turn right at STOP sign onto Pondfield Road West, continue to traffic circle; drive under railroad tracks; and emerge onto Pondfield Road (the main street in the Village of Bronxville). Proceed through the Village to the Midland Avenue and Pondfield Road traffic light. (the high school will be on your left and a large church on the right – The Reformed Church). Turn left onto Midland Avenue; proceed approximately 1 mile to #135 (on your left immediately after traffic light at Tanglewylde and Midland Avenues.)
FROM BRONX, LONG ISLAND, AND NEW JERSEY
Cross Bronx Expressway to Bronx River Parkway North, about 5 miles, (Highway forks, bear right toward Bronx River Parkway). Just after fork, take exit 2, Pondfield Road West, turn right at STOP sign onto Pondfield Road West. At traffic circle/rotary, drive under railroad tracks and emerge onto Pondfield Road (main street of Bronxville). Proceed through Village of Bronxville to intersection of Midland Avenue and Pondfield Road. At that traffic light intersection the high school will be on your left and a large church on the right – The Reformed Church. Turn left onto Midland Avenue; proceed approximately 1 mile to #135 (on your left immediately after traffic light at Tanglewylde Avenue and Midland Avenue.)
FROM ROCKLAND – NORTHERN WESTCHESTER
TAPPAN ZEE BRIDGE TO I-87 Thruway South to Tuckahoe Road East (Bronxville) exit. Take Tuckahoe Road about 1 1/4 miles; go straight through traffic-light intersection at Central Park Avenue; and make a right at the next traffic light onto Parkview. Continue on Parkview to a large intersection. At that traffic light which is the intersection of Pondfield Road West. Make a left turn at the traffic light onto Pondfield Road West; continue to traffic circle (rotary); continue around rotary about half way and exit onto Pondfield Road going under the railroad tracks. You will emerge onto Pondfield Road (the main street of Bronxville). Proceed through the Village of Bronxville to the intersection of Midland Avenue and Pondfield Road. At that traffic light with the high school on your left and a large church on the right – The Reformed Church, turn left onto Midland Avenue. Proceed approximately 1 mile to #135 (on your left immediately after traffic light at Tanglewylde and Midland Avenues.)
FROM CONNECTICUT
South on Hutchinson River Parkway to Exit 18 (Mill Road). Make a right onto Mill Road. Make a left onto Route 22 (also named White Plains Road at a large intersection) and proceed approximately 1/4 mile to the fork in the road. Bear right at the fork onto Main Street/Midland Avenue. The Anna Lawence Bisland 1928 House, home of the Bronxville Women’s Club is located at 135 Midland Avenue, on the right, at the corner of Midland and Tanglewylde Avenues.
